EAERCD Conferences

The International Conference on Research in the Distributive Trades Series

To facilitate contact amongst retail academics and promote research on the subject, the EAERCD facilities the organisation of a research conference on a two year cycle.

The conference continues the established research conference series previously initiated and organised by CESCOM at Bocconi University in Milan.  After the formal establishment of the EAERCD this series was taken over by EAERCD. Full conference papers are double blind refereed and the best papers are published that year in a Special Issue of The International Review of Retail, Distribution and Consumer Research. A listing of the recent Special Issues from the conference is provided on a separate page of this blog.

The most recent conference (the 18th in the series ) was held in July 2015 in Rennes, France.

The next conference in the series will be hosted by the Dublin Institute of Technology in early July 2017.
